Alessandra Casanova- Yoga Classes
A web of marvels and mishaps introduced me to the practice of yoga. Although 12 years have now passed since attending my very first yoga class, I am a student each and every time I step on my mat. There is always something wild to explore when I invite awareness to my body, mind, and heart. I set the table for each and every aspect of myself, inviting it to dine and be nourished through my practice. I believe that the only prerequisite for yoga is curiosity, and not a single human on this earth is born without it. This is my invitation to you.
I hold a B.A. in Anthropology and Gender Studies from the University of Hawai’i at Hilo. In 2010, I attended my first 200-hour YTT in Alachua, Florida under the guidance of sisters Syama and Dhyana Masla at the YogaVeda School of Yoga and Ayurveda. In 2017, I completed a second 200-hour YTT with Libby Cox of Two Birds Yoga Training in Eugene, Oregon. Additional trainings include Trauma-Informed Brain-Sensitive YTT with Sarahjoy Marsh and an advanced training in Skillful Vinyasa Sequencing with Clara Roberts-Oss and Nico Luce. Deep gratitude to all of my teachers.
